German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has expressed confidence that the country’s plan to legalize recreational cannabis might soon be realized. This news has been eagerly awaited by local cannabis enthusiasts who have long anticipated the move.

Investing in Colorado, the second-largest cannabis market in the U.S., has been a priority for many companies. Companies like Bod Science have been at the forefront of this trend and CEO Jo Patterson has said the firm is “feeling confident” it will successfully register a low-dose CBD insomnia product for sale in the state.

Senator West has been a vocal proponent of cannabis legalization in Kentucky and told the Courier-Journal he is “fairly confident” the bill will clear committee on Tuesday, adding that it will have some restrictions.

“I feel very confident that we’re going to get it done this year,” he said. Starting July 1, possession and use of cannabis will be legal for those over the age of 21 in Illinois.

In Oklahoma, the election for the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority is being held in June. “We are confident that, if Oklahomans turn out to vote, we will get the initiative passed,” said Jamie K. Yannone, the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority. This will bring in additional income from sales of medical cannabis, which was legalize by Oklahoma voters in 2018.

Over a decade ago, Charlotte’s Web created the CBD category and despite a growing number of competitors, the firm remains confident in its strategy. “We are confident our strategy is the right one because it is focused on providing high-quality, safe, and effective product to customers,” said CEO Deanie Elsner.

In California, cannabis sales have been on the rise due to the legalization of recreational cannabis. It contributed to a state record of $102.9 million in cannabis sales for April 2020. Paulson, the CEO of cannabis company Pax Labs, said he’s confident that business will remain strong despite the economic downturn caused by the pandemic.

On the advertising front, cannabis companies have been limited in their ability to promote their product on mainstream social media outlets like Facebook and Instagram. A few smaller social media platforms have allowed for cannabis advertising in their networks, though. We are confident it will prove to be a significant revenue stream for those companies willing to take the risk.
