GRAYVILLE, Ill. (WFIE) - Cannabis enthusiasts in Grayville, Illinois, will soon have a new spot to purchase their favorite products. Marijuana retailer Terrabis has announced plans to open an adult-use dispensary in the town, catering to customers aged 21 and over.

The dispensary will be located near I-64 at Exit 130 on Koehler Road, making it easily accessible for both residents and visitors. The licensee behind the project has been working towards opening a cannabis dispensary for a decade and is excited to finally bring the project to fruition.

Terrabis is known for its high-quality products and knowledgeable staff, and the new dispensary in Grayville is expected to offer the same level of service. Customers can expect to find a wide variety of cannabis products, including flowers, edibles, concentrates, and more.

This new dispensary is just one of many that have been popping up across the United States since the legalization of recreational marijuana. In upstate New York, for example, the second adult-use weed dispensary is set to open its doors, bringing the number of dispensaries in the state to two.

Puffin, a small New Jersey-based company, is also hoping to open its cannabis dispensary business on George Street by the end of May. And in the Southern Tier of New York, another adult-use cannabis dispensary is opening, according to Governor Kathy Hochul.

However, not all dispensaries have been met with open arms. A cannabis dispensary in Exeter, for instance, was the first in the state to offer home delivery. While some customers have praised the convenience of the service, others have expressed concerns about the safety of having cannabis products delivered to their homes.

In Michigan, a group of suspects led state police on a chase that ended with a crash caused by a PIT maneuver after they broke into a Bay City dispensary. The incident highlights the potential risks associated with the cannabis industry, particularly for those working in dispensaries.

Despite these challenges, the cannabis industry continues to grow and thrive. recreational marijuana has been legal in New York since March 31, 2021, and other states are expected to follow suit in the coming years.

As more and more dispensaries open their doors, consumers can expect to have even more options when it comes to purchasing cannabis products. And with companies like Terrabis leading the way in terms of quality and customer service, the future of the industry looks bright.
