Since her rise to fame as the queen of homemaking and lifestyle guru, Martha Stewart has carved out a unique place in the public consciousness. Her influence has been so lasting, that even today, nearly 20 years after her first foray into the world of television, she remains relevant and in the public eye. But does Martha Stewart smoke weed?

The answer may be surprising. Despite her love of the outdoors and her general approach to life, Martha Stewart generally eschews cannabis for her own use. In 2020, she told Chelsea Handler on the comedian’s show that she thought the last joint she smoked was in the 1970s.

Although she does not use cannabis for her own personal use, Martha Stewart has been a part of the cannabis industry in other ways. In 2017, Martha Stewart’s company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, partnered with the Canadian cannabis company Canopy Growth Corporation to develop a line of CBD products. The company has since ceased production of cannabis-related products, but the partnership with Martha Stewart remains a testament to the lifestyle guru’s willingness to embrace the cannabis industry.

Aside from her professional involvement, Martha Stewart has also been a part of the cannabis culture in a more personal way. In 2020, she agreed to smoke a joint with Chelsea Handler during the comedian’s show. The moment was a viral sensation, as it combined two of the most unlikely public figures.

Despite this, it’s clear that Martha Stewart does not regularly smoke marijuana. She has even gone so far as to admit in an interview with Snoop Dogg that she does not even smoke cigarettes. And while Stewart frequently dabbles with cannabis and hemp-related enterprises, she’s generally conceded that she does not partake of the herb herself.

So does Martha Stewart smoke weed? The answer is no. While Martha Stewart may be open to the idea of cannabis use, it does not seem to be something she engages in personally. However, her willingness to embrace the industry and her willingness to work with cannabis companies shows she is open-minded and willing to embrace the changing times.
