Cannabis is a popular recreational drug that is enjoyed by millions of people worldwide. It is well-known for its ability to produce a range of pleasurable effects, including relaxation, euphoria, and heightened sensory perception. However, as with any drug, there are some potential negative effects that users should be aware of. One of these is the so-called "cannabis hangover."

In the newest addition of positive cannabis studies, one research effort found that there is no evidence of “next day” effects of THC after smoking or vaporizing the drug. This may come as a surprise to many cannabis users who have reported feeling sluggish, groggy, and generally unwell after a night of heavy smoking.

A new study says there's little evidence that people experience a hangover or effects the day after consuming weed. The study, which was published in the journal Addiction, found that while some users reported feeling tired or "foggy" the morning after using cannabis, there was no evidence of a true hangover effect.

The first systematic review examining the phenomenon of a 'next day' hangover caused by cannabis has found scant evidence impairment exists. The review, which was published in the journal Current Addiction Reports, analyzed data from 13 studies and found that while some users reported feeling tired or groggy the day after using cannabis, there was little evidence of lasting impairment.

A new scientific review is challenging the idea that there's a marijuana “hangover” effect the day after use, raising questions about whether the phenomenon exists at all. The review, which was published in the journal Drug and Alcohol Dependence, analyzed data from 11 studies and found that while some users reported feeling tired or foggy the day after using cannabis, there was little evidence of a true hangover effect.

Former University of Phoenix president Bill Gibbs was looking for an adult beverage that wouldn't make him hungover. “I'm old,” joked the 72-year-old. “I don't like to feel like crap the next day.” His search led him to launch a line of cannabis-infused beverages that he claims offer a "smoother" high than traditional edibles.

Woody Harrelson hosted Saturday Night Live and the 61-year-old actor used the stage to crack stoner and COVID jokes to a mixed reception. Harrelson has long been an advocate for cannabis legalization and has been vocal about his own personal use of the drug. He has also been involved in a number of initiatives aimed at promoting the benefits of cannabis for medical and recreational use.
