Officers recovered a 'large number of plants' from a cannabis cultivation at a building in Fraserburgh on Wednesday. The discovery was made as a result of a joint operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies, including members of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Aberdeen and Amory police departments, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and Alcoholic Beverage Control.
The bust comes as just under 100 medical marijuana dispensaries in Maryland prepare to sell recreational cannabis to adults 21 and older starting on July 1. This news follows the announcement of the "28th Annual Best of Twin Harbors" winner, with a clear favorite emerging after thousands of votes were counted.
Aberdeen Proving Ground has clarified its stance on cannabis following the recent legalization of recreational marijuana in Maryland. This development coincides with the approval of local licenses for proposed Red Bank cannabis retailers Canopy Crossroads, The Frosted Nug, and Monteverde, which will remain in effect through 2024.
