Orange County Cannabis Co., the Mid-Hudson's first adult-use dispensary, serves as a hub for the canna-curious in Middletown. The shop is run by the father-daughter team of Shantel and Howard Libron. It is the 45th adult-use dispensary to open in New York since cannabis legalization in 2021.

The owner of Orange County Cannabis Company in Wawayanda told News 12 he was overjoyed to learn the news. After months of delays caused by state regulation delays and lawsuits, Orange County Cannabis is finally ready to welcome customers. Shantel Libron became emotional as she spoke about how meaningful it was for her and her dad, Howard, to finally open the dispensary.

The Orange County Cannabis Co. opens Friday at 1308 Dolsontown Road in Wawayanda, state officials said. Visitors can experience Silly Nice's Frosted Hash Balls at the dispensary, known for their potent, handcrafted concentrates.
