Field Day Brewing Co. debuted its in-house cannabis-infused drink, Day Dreamer, on Feb. 23, welcoming a new era for hemp-derived THC drinks. The taproom, located in North Liberty, is excited to offer this innovative beverage to its customers. With the growing popularity of cannabis-infused products, Field Day Brewing is tapping into this market with Day Dreamer.

Beverage producers in Iowa have also launched new cannabis-infused drinks in response to the demand for such products. One producer even mentioned that they have stored thousands of dollars worth of inventory to meet the needs of consumers interested in cannabis-infused beverages.

However, some companies are facing challenges due to the new hemp law in Iowa that restricts THC levels in consumables. A federal judge recently granted eight companies' request to dismiss a lawsuit against the state over its implementation of the law. Another group of companies is now suing the state over its interpretation of the law, indicating ongoing disputes within the industry.

Two Iowa companies are taking legal action against the state over its interpretation of the new law. The lawsuit focuses on the restrictions on THC levels in adult beverages, highlighting the ongoing legal battles within the cannabis industry.
